Recently, a lot of the photos and projects have been based around building our skills in photo editing and photoshopping. Specifically in this project we played with layer masking and attention to detail. layer masking is a much better option than erasing as layer masking is very easy to work with and very easy to undue. The focal point of the image is the version of me laying down with the other version of me standing on me and keeping me from moving, this is meant to represent my pride standing on my emotions, keeping my emptions suppressed. Next to the version of me standing on the other, a puzzled looking version of me stands, questioning whether this is a right and healthy thing for me to do, this version of me is meant to represent the logic part of my brain. To the left of the focal point you can see two versions of me preparing to fight as one squares up and the other cowers away. Those two show the dichotomy between the violence and peace, the good and bad. As you can see though, apparent by the version of me sitting on the ground completely un-phased to what is happening, this conflict of right and wrong is normal occurrence in my brain. And finally the two versions in the background meant to represent my silliness and athleticism. If I had a twin I bet they would have been named Tyler.
